Following the release of his two singles, "Sneak Dissin'" and "I'ma Hitta," which both garnered largely positive reviews, he contemplated rapping as "a full-time career" after negotiations to sign with Chief Keef and French Montana's labels fell through. Life Ain't No Joke, Durk's third mixtape, was released on October 19, 2012.
